5 Christmas Gift Ideas to Add to Your Christmas List

I have always been the organizer of…well…everything.

I like to have a plan in place, stay on schedule, and get things done early so that I can take the time to enjoy the festivities.

This means that I am the person who tends to start Christmas shopping in June. And if I don’t actually start buying, then I start saving off ideas and making lists.

Now that we are 2 months and 24 days away from Christmas…yes, you read that correctly, it’s time for you to start thinking about shopping too. So, today I want to share with you five gift ideas to add to your Christmas list for the dog lover in your life…or even yourself!

Before I begin, however, you should know that some of the links in this post are affiliate links. What does this mean? It means that when you make a purchase, Jet and I will make a small percentage of your purchase amount. This is usually between 2% and 6% and it helps us to make a little money from our blog. What it does not do, is influence which sites and products I recommend to you. I recommend only websites that we have used ourselves and products that we use at home. Occasionally I may suggest trying a product or site that we haven’t used ourselves, but if I do, I will boldly inform you that this is the case.

Cute Dog Notecards

1. Lick Notecards

Seriously, these are the cutest things ever. I know, not many people actually hand write things or send “real” mail anymore, but these notecards make it worth it.

Right now you can buy the set of two packs of notecards from Zulily for $17.99 (you will have to sign up to access the deal, but we have shopped with Zulily before and they’re very reliable.) The deal won’t last long, so if you want to take advantage of their savings I’d pick them up now.

If you miss the Zulily deal, you can find these periodically on Amazon for around $12 to $15 per box.

Black Dogs Project Calendar

2.The Black Dogs Project 2017: 16-Month Calendar September 2016 through December 2017

Every year we gift a calendar of some sort to someone on our list. This year we pick the Black Dogs Project calendar because it’s just amazing! The calendar features plenty of gorgeous black dogs and supports the Black Dog’s Project which raises awareness of the difficulty that black dogs face in shelters across the nation (also known as “black dog syndrome). So, not only do you get a great gift out of this, but you also help to support a great organization.

You can find this calendar at Amazon for $14.99 or you can snag it from Calendars.com for $14.99 and use ebates to get cash back!

Dog is My Zen Hoodie

3. Women’s Dog is my Zen Hoodie

I love Dog Is Good apparel. My favorite baseball hat is a product of Dog is Good and I have given their items as gifts a million times over. I love this hoodie not only for the logo but also because it’s good quality and SO comfy! If you have never bought or worn their apparel before, this is the perfect product to start with.

You can grab this hoodie from Dog Is Good’s own website, but you can find it cheaper on Amazon for $36 – $42.

Dog Father Mug

4. Just Call Me the DogFather Mug

It’s not only the dog moms who love dog themed gifts, so here is one for all of the dog dads out there!

I can’t tell you how much I love this mug. Mostly I love it because it’s something that even the “macho” dog dad out there would use and appreciate.

You can pick this up from Amazon for $12.18 which is a steal if you ask me!

5. Karren Garces Dog Pop Art

There are so many artists out there who paint dogs, but Karren is by FAR my favorite. Her work is just incredible and she manages to capture those expressions so well.

This might be a pricier gift idea, but it is very much worth it for the response you will get from the gift recipient!

Prices on pieces vary but begin at around $41 plus shipping.

You can check out more of Karren Garces work on her ETSY store.
