So, this happened…
I want to say that I’m surprised, but I can’t. From the very tone of my communication with Blue Buffalo, I feared that their “medical claims process” was nothing more than a method of placating complainants and now I can’t help but think that this is the case. This fear is bolstered by the fact that the letter above references an overnight hospital stay that never took place. Am I just an angry complainant who didn’t get the response she wanted from this process? You bet your ass I am, but I am also the mother to a 14-year-old Labrador who, (begin legal disclaimer) in my opinion (/end legal disclaimer) was forced to fight for his life due to Blue Buffalo’s kibble.
So, what do we do now? Now that we have $706.98 in veterinary bills that Blue Buffalo Co. denies being the cause of? We’re still working on that one, but one thing is for sure, we will not “go gentle into that good night.”*
