*Update* Pops has found his forever home! Thank you, everyone, for your hard work networking this boy!

I’ve decided to advocate for one special senior dog here on Philosophy of Dog until he or she finds a home. Once they find their furever home, I will begin featuring another.

I know that it won’t change the world, but hopefully, it will change the world for one lucky family and one amazing senior dog!

More About Pops:

Pops is a real sweetheart, he can be motivated by food but isn’t your usual food-obsessed Lab. He loves belly rubs and being vacuumed! Pops walks well on a leash and plays well with his foster canine siblings. Pops is a fast learner and a gentle boy. Pops isn’t easily distracted on walks, he actually met a tortoise the other day, sniffed it and kept on walking and the horses across the street don’t seem to phase him at all! Pops doesn’t bark often, but he will tell you when he wants your attention or when he needs to go out to potty!

Amy

A thirty-something author, I have a passion for all things canine. I have shared my life with dogs of all breeds including the one-of-a-kind Great Dane-Pit Bull mix, Millie. My true heart-dog, however, was a black Labrador named Jet. Being Jet’s mom has taught me more than I ever thought possible about…just about everything. Together we had many a misadventure including a faceplant on river rocks, a dog bite, a brown recluse spider bite, giardia, cancer and the best of all – the exploding anal gland.
