I was looking through some photos of my boy today and decided that it’d be a great time to share some of my favorites with you all.

Here is Jet in his pool, he was about two years old. In typical Lab fashion, he LOVED water!

Another photo from the same day as above. This is one of my favorite photos of Jet and we have it printed on a canvas in our bedroom.

Poor Jet! This was taken when he was around 12 years old and the first Halloween we got him a costume. As expected, he was less than thrilled.

This is another of my favorite pictures of Jet! It was taken when Jet was 14 years old <3

We were blessed to have so many great memories together. Run free, sweet boy.

A thirty-something author, I have a passion for all things canine. I have shared my life with dogs of all breeds including the one-of-a-kind Great Dane-Pit Bull mix, Millie. My true heart-dog, however, was a black Labrador named Jet. Being Jet’s mom has taught me more than I ever thought possible about…just about everything. Together we had many a misadventure including a faceplant on river rocks, a dog bite, a brown recluse spider bite, giardia, cancer and the best of all – the exploding anal gland.
